Pouso Plateau is a modern, cozy lower-level suite designed for up to 2 guests in a quiet residential neighborhood of Gatineau–Aylmer.

The suite includes a separate bedroom with a double bed and dedicated workspace, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a living room with TV, and a private bathroom with washer and dryer.

Whether you’re visiting for work, family, appointments, studies or an event, the space is designed to give you the comfort and convenience of home during a short stay. Downtown Ottawa is approximately 20 minutes away by car, and public transit is just a short walk away.

We live upstairs with our children and pet. We respect our guests’ privacy and want Pouso Plateau to be a peaceful, thoughtfully prepared place where you can settle in, relax and feel at home while you’re away from yours.

Guests have exclusive use of the lower-level suite, including the bedroom, kitchen and dining area, living room, private bathroom, washer and dryer, and dedicated workspace.

The home’s main entrance is shared with our family. From there, you will access the lower-level suite through its own lockable door. You will also have a separate key to the bedroom for added privacy.

One free parking space is included.

The rest of our home is private and not accessible to guests.

We live upstairs and are available if you need assistance during your stay, while respecting your privacy and independence.

We’re happy to answer questions, offer local recommendations or help if anything comes up. Otherwise, we’ll give you the space to enjoy Pouso Plateau at your own pace.

Pouso Plateau is located in Le Plateau, a quiet residential neighborhood in Gatineau–Aylmer with everyday conveniences close by. Grocery stores such as Walmart and Maxi, as well as shops like Dollarama, are nearby. The AGORA district offers restaurants, cafés, a pharmacy, health and wellness services, and a public library. Parks and public transit are also close by, while downtown Ottawa is approximately 20 minutes away by car.

Getting around is easy by car or public transit. One free parking space is included directly in front of the home, and STO bus stops are just a short walk away, with connections throughout Gatineau and toward Ottawa. Downtown Ottawa is approximately 20 minutes away by car, and grocery stores, shops, restaurants and everyday services are also just a short drive away.

The home’s heating equipment and electrical panel are located on the lower level. In the unlikely event of an emergency or urgent maintenance issue involving these systems, we may need to access the suite to inspect or address the problem.

Whenever circumstances allow, we will contact you before entering. Your bedroom has a separate lock, providing an additional private space for any personal belongings you prefer to keep secured.
